Kutch Minerals, established in 1981, is a leading company dealing with the mining, processing and marketing of minerals like china clay, fire clay and silica sand with an installed capacity of 10,000 tpa. Their products have varied uses in industries such as ceramics, glass, paint, etc. To increase production and broaden their customer base, in 1996 they increased their capacity to 30,000 tpa and 90,000 tpa respectively via a public issue of 1,608,700 equity shares.
